PHOENIX \u2014 Folks in Phoenix\u2019s Sunnyslope neighborhood will soon have a new store to shop at when they take on a home improvement project.<\/p>\n

Harbor Freight announced Wednesday that it will open a new location at 8911 N. Seventh Street<\/a>, just south of the intersection of Seventh Street and Dunlap Avenue.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been looking to open another location in Phoenix for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous values to the community,\u201d Harbor Freight Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Construction Trey Feiler said in a press release.<\/p>\n

Construction is currently underway on the tool store, which is filling a storefront that previously was a Walgreens.<\/p>\n

An exact opening date has not been announced, but doors are expected to open in January, according to Harbor Freight\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harbor Freight now hiring for new Sunnyslope store<\/p>\n

The Sunnyslope location will be the 40th Harbor Freight store across Arizona and is expected to bring 25-30 jobs to the area.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates in the Phoenix area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team,\u201d Feiler said.<\/p>\n
