Prince Harry crashes wife Meghan Markle\u2019s kitchen, but let\u2019s just say he\u2019s not giving her cooking rave reviews.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex made an unexpected appearance on his wife\u2019s \u201cWith Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration,\u201d<\/a> which aired on Netflix Dec. 3, and the royal kinda insulted her cooking skills.<\/p>\n

Meghan was making her family\u2019s famous Christmas Eve gumbo, a dish normally made by her mom, Doria Ragland. Keeping with the tradition, Meghan cooked the spicy recipe for the cameras. But Harry quickly reminded viewers that he\u2019s loyal to the original.<\/p>\n

\u201cGumbo, for me, is one of my favorites,\u201d he said. \u201cEspecially her mom\u2019s, but before the fish goes in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan noted that Ragland \u201csaves a portion on the side\u201d for her son-in-law because of his preferences, warning Harry that her own version packed more heat. \u201cMy mom does the turkey sausage for you, so this one has more kick to it,\u201d she teased. \u201cI\u2019ll give you a little towel. He\u2019s going to sweat.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWonderful,\u201d Harry replied, before immediately feeling the burn. \u201cI can feel it puncturing through the top of my head right now,\u201d he joked. \u201cIt is delicious. I\u2019m not so sure it\u2019s as good as your mom\u2019s, but it\u2019s certainly close.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan was in shock, staring at Harry as chef Tom Colicchio laughed nearby. \u201cMy mom will love you for that,\u201d she said. \u201cWhat a good thing to say for your mother-in-law.\u201d<\/p>\n

We\u2019re sure that\u2019s not quite the reaction Meghan was expecting.
