A new Thai street food spot, Godunk<\/a>, is now open at 332 Bowery in Noho, between Bond and Great Jones streets, from chef Nate Limwong. The chef earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand at her Hell\u2019s Kitchen Thai go-to, Chalong<\/a>, and went on to open a Thai hot pot restaurant, Unglo<\/a>, earlier this year. Godunk\u2019s menu lists dishes from Isaan in the North to her native Surat Thani, a southern city that specializes in seafood, with items like dry pok pok noodles, Godunk fried rice that\u2019s similar to China\u2019s sticky rice dish, ba jang, and seafood dish yen ta fo with noodles and water spinach.<\/p>\n

Cocktails come from Angel\u2019s Share<\/a> alum Ryan Saputra, who has put together a slate of romance film-inspired drinks in a room with vintage cinema aesthetics.<\/p>\n

A new Soho wine shop opens with a familiar name<\/p>\n

In November, the magazine Wine Enthusiast opened a standalone shop in Soho at 27 Greene Street, at Grand Street. The 1,400-square-foot space is a way to give \u201cNew Yorkers a place to actually see, test, and learn from Wine Enthusiast\u2019s experts \u2013\u2014 whether they\u2019re outfitting a first apartment or thinking about long-term storage,\u201d says a spokesperson about the opening. It comes ahead of the Bon Appetit-branded market and restaurant at JFK, which is on track to open next year<\/a>, and the larger trend of brands opening restaurants from Louis Vuitton<\/a> to Members Only<\/a> and beyond.<\/p>\n

A new Eataly cafe will open uptown<\/p>\n

Eataly Caff\u00e8<\/a>, the brand\u2019s quick-service coffee bar, is opening its third New York City outpost on Wednesday, December 10, at 3 p.m. at 1122 Lexington Avenue, at East 78th Street) on the Upper East Side. Eataly will be giving out a complimentary hot chocolate to customers through Sunday, December 14.
