Golf influencer Paige Spiranac quietly donated all of her day-two Barstool Sports Internet Invitational skins winnings \u2014 about $15,000 or $16,000 \u2014 to the Cody \u201cBeef\u201d Franke foundation after she was engulfed in a cheating scandal at the event finale, according to Barstool\u2019s Francis Ellis.<\/p>\n

During Tuesday\u2019s instalment of the \u201cSon Of A Boy Dad\u201d podcast,<\/a> Ellis explained that he was impressed by Spiranac \u2014 and decided to share her donation publicly after she had gotten \u201cbeaten up in the dark corridors of the internet\u201d due to the cheating allegations.<\/p>\n

\u201cI found out through a little birdie that when we all got paid our skins money from the second day, which was 15 or 16 thousand each, Paige Spiranac donated all of her skins money to Beef\u2019s family,\u201d Ellis said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Franke \u2014 a fellow golf influencer and host of Barstool\u2019s \u201cFore Play\u201d podcast \u2014 passed away from a sudden medical issue<\/a> in October. <\/p>\n

Ellis and Brad Dalke played in the inaugural Barstool Internet Invitational on Franke\u2019s behalf and the trio took home the $1 million grand prize. <\/p>\n

Rone, a co-host on the \u201cSon Of A Boy\u201d podcast, chimed in with a dig at Spiranac.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo better way to quell a dirty conscious,\u201d he said, referring to cheating drama. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s when Ellis defended Spiranac.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe didn\u2019t ask anyone to tell, she didn\u2019t do that, she didn\u2019t expect that to come out,\u201d Ellis said. \u201c\u2026 You had to tell the Barstool payroll person how to give their money, and she just told that person, \u2018send it to Beef\u2019s family.\u2019<\/p>\n

Spiranac was accused of cheating when she pushed down high grass in the rough on the 9th hole, allowing Malosi Togisala to have a cleaner shot at the ball. <\/p>\n

She broke down in tears on camera as she explained that she didn\u2019t touch the ball and it wasn\u2019t her intention to cheat. <\/p>\n
