{"id":424393,"date":"2025-12-04T15:56:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T15:56:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/424393\/"},"modified":"2025-12-04T15:56:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T15:56:13","slug":"i-76-west-closing-overnight-for-6-months-penndot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/424393\/","title":{"rendered":"I-76 West Closing Overnight For 6 Months: PennDOT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA \u2014 Traffic on Interstate 76 in Philadelphia will be impacted by bridge work for half a year, according to PennDOT.<\/p>\n<p>Beginning Sunday, drivers on I-76 west will encounter lane restrictions and closures due to the $148.9 million project to rehabilitate the bridges that carry Market Street over Amtrak and I-76, the Schuylkill River Trail, and CSX Railroad in Center City.<\/p>\n<p>This work will restrict and close I-76 west at 30th Street through June 1, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>I-76 west will be reduced to one lane between the 30th Street and Interstate 676 interchanges from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sundays through Thursdays.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, I-76 West will be closed and detoured between the 30th Street and I-676 interchanges from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning.
