However, he narrowed things down to a final four of Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee and Georgia, with the Wolverines and Volunteers being the two top schools at the end of the day. Tennessee got the last official visit, but Hiter’s strong relationship with Tony Alford helped the Wolverines seal the deal in August.

From Andrew Ivins: “A potential star for a College Football Playoff contender as he brings the total package to the table with his burst, power, agility, balance and vision. Simply no match for high school competition as he moves at a different speed than others. Built to handle inside work with a muscled-up frame that’s already carrying 200 pounds, but can hit home runs with his acceleration. Constantly bounces off defenders or runs through them with a low pad level and seems to always be finding additional chunks of yardage. Quick to chart his course, but patient enough to read his blocks and has the awareness to get trouble well before lanes close. Hasn’t been asked to show much as a pass catcher, but has true three-down capabilities as he’s got what it takes to chip large pass rushers. Young for the grade and won’t turn 18 until he starts college, which makes his testing numbers (1.52 10-yard split, 4.12 shuttle, 36-inch vertical jump) even more impressive. Should be viewed as one of the top running back prospects to emerge from the prep ranks in recent years given what he has put on tape. Type of talent that is tracking to provide valuable minutes right away.”

With Justice Haynes very likely off to the NFL, Hiter will have a golden opportunity to earn immediate playing time. Jordan Marshall is going to need a complimentary player to pair up with him in the backfield, and Hiter is the perfect player to do so. He’s young, but he’s too talented to keep off the field. Look for the five-star to make an instant impact in Ann Arbor next season.

The Wolverines have officially secured their top ranked offensive player in the 2026 class, as five-star running back…

[43
1318,6654,6655,1317,1315,1316,62,67,132,68
0":"post-424437","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-ncaa-football","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-michigan-football-recruiting","10":"tag-michigan-football-recruiting-news","11":"tag-ncaa","12":"tag-ncaa-football","13":"tag-ncaafootball","14":"tag-sports","15":"tag-united-states","16":"tag-unitedstates","17":"tag-us
["GET
