The Duke of Sussex walked on stage in the middle of Colbert\u2019s Wednesday show. This began a five-minute sketch in which Harry claimed to be auditioning for a Hallmark Christmas movie in which he\u2019d play a \u201cGingerbread Prince.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Colbert asked him why he\u2019d want to star in such a movie, Harry explained, \u201cWell, you Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you\u2019re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHold on, I wouldn\u2019t say we\u2019re obsessed with royalty,\u201d Colbert said. <\/p>\n
Harry replied, \u201cI heard you elected a king.\u201d<\/p>\n
The joke referenced Trump calling himself a king<\/a> in February 2025 while trying to stop the congestion pricing plan in New York.
