If there\u2019s an opening in your neighborhood that we\u2019ve missed, let us know at ny@eater.com.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Chinatown: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kimminyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Kimmi<\/strong><\/a>, an entirely gluten-free restaurant, opened on Wednesday, December 3, from the team behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tlk-nyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tiger Lily Kitchen<\/a> and TLK by Tigerlily Kitchen, <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/8\/2\/24208696\/nyc-restaurant-closings-august-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which closed in 2024<\/a>. The restaurant \u2014 which will use products from gluten-free facilities to keep its food celiac-safe \u2014 serves dishes like peanut noodles, mango and papaya salad, spicy tuna rice cakes, and grilled pork belly skewers. Much of the menu is also vegetarian. Drinks include wine, with glasses between $13 and $16, and low-ABV cocktails. 125 Canal Street, at Chrystie Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Hell\u2019s Kitchen: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.historyrestaurant.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The History<\/strong><\/a>, an ornately decorated Georgian restaurant, opened on Saturday, November 22, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DQpSME6EXho\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">promising<\/a> an exploration of \u201c30 centuries of Georgian flavor.\u201d The restaurant serves dishes like khinkali, crispy suckling pig, duck breast with a sauce of rose and Georgian pennyroyal, fish aspic, and breads like khachapuri and mchadi, as well as Georgian wines like Rkatsiteli. It bills itself as part restaurant, part gallery, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DRwsOteF_jP\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">portraits of Georgian monarchs<\/a> on the walls as well as replicas of royal garments. 645 Ninth Avenue, at West 45th Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Noho:<\/strong> Nate Limwong, the chef behind Thai restaurants <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/venue\/99667\/chalong-nyc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chalong<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/restaurant-openings\/404169\/unglo-nyc-open-thai-restaurant-hot-pot-barbecue-moo-krata-manhattan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recently opened Unglo<\/a>, opened her newest restaurant, <a href=\"https:\/\/godunknewyork.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Godunk<\/strong><\/a>, on Tuesday, December 2. <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/new-york-restaurant-news\/407384\/thai-godunk-chalong-unglo-nate-limwong\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Godunk<\/a> focuses on street food dishes from across Thailand, like Bangkok\u2019s yen ta fo, a noodle soup with seafood and a pink broth that\u2019s flavored with fermented bean curd. The space is inspired by vintage cinema, and that\u2019s reflected in the cocktail menu, with drinks like the Before Sunset (featuring pandan-infused mezcal) and the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (featuring gin, mango, lime, and cilantro). 332 Bowery, near Bond Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Prospect Heights: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gertie.nyc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Gertie<\/strong><\/a>, which <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2019\/2\/27\/18241430\/gertie-williamsburg-nate-adler-opening-nyc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first opened in Williamsburg in 2019<\/a> and then <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/5\/23\/24435842\/gertie-closing-brooklyn-restaurant-williamsburg-reopening-gertrudes-jewish-diner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">closed this summer<\/a>, reopened on Monday, December 1, in a new space that was previously home to the beloved sandwich shop R&amp;D Foods, <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/restaurant-closings\/401403\/nyc-restaurant-closings-august-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">which closed in August<\/a>. While the previous iteration of Gertie had more of a diner vibe, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/news\/406322\/gertie-nyc-jewish-deli-open-brooklyn-restaurant-reopen-prospect-heights\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">new version<\/a> is more of a bagel shop and delicatessen, focusing on homemade bagels, sandwiches, and soups, with a latke bar. Sister restaurant <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/venue\/102284\/gertrude-s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gertrude\u2019s<\/a> is just around the corner. 602 Vanderbilt Avenue, near St. Marks Avenue<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Red Hook:<\/strong> Selina Ullrich, a local java vet who formerly ran the wholesale business at East One Coffee Roasters, debuts a new industrial-styled neighborhood roastery and cafe in late November called <a href=\"http:\/\/l.instagram.com\/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fhighbeam.nyc%2F%3Futm_source%3Dig%26utm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_content%3Dlink_in_bio%26fbclid%3DPAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQMMjU2MjgxMDQwNTU4AAGnY4vARcIddIUl9WoJfJyedEGFpszo5roe_x2To8xtOHvfgradO_cRoiV8450_aem_Mx8Cd1U0RzwT-jwcFTXxSg&amp;e=AT3zvelgGUoPOvhe6tMB9u9C5u6fV5Do_StgUEkI4KaxfWa3TtJpoWfGR0SnpqkZz2jwhrPtHxAebgtr0Yn6gqz2J6NYne0OHsfWtxKTN8hUyYqNbbIoVvU6mw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>High Beam<\/strong><\/a>. While the Brooklyn bar plans to largely focus on women\u2019s sports, partners Caroline Kane, Chandler Robertson, and Debany D\u00e1vila want to be a \u201ccomfortable spot for all sports fans,\u201d per <a href=\"https:\/\/greenpointers.com\/2025\/12\/02\/blazers-sports-bar-officially-opens-in-williamsburg\/?jetpack_skip_subscription_popup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greenpointers<\/a>. Blazers serves beers, cocktails, mocktails, and pub grub like wings, fries, and guacamole. Hours are 4 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and noon to midnight on weekends. 308 Bedford Avenue, near South First Street<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\"><strong>Williamsburg:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/themccarrennyc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>The McCarren<\/strong><\/a>, a new neighborhood hangout with an Irish bent, debuted in the old Thief space in early December, per <a href=\"https:\/\/greenpointers.com\/2025\/12\/02\/new-bar-the-mccarren-opens-in-former-thief-space-in-williamsburg\/?jetpack_skip_subscription_popup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Greenpointers<\/a>. The menu features everything from a chicken filet burger to an \u201cIrish\u201d toastie special with ham, cheese, red onion, and Kerrygold butter with Tayto crisps, plus mozzarella sticks, Irish sausage rolls, wings, and flatbreads.
