Heads up, North Texas toll road users<\/a>! There are closures and detours scheduled for multiple toll roads across the region this weekend due to planned construction activity and maintenance work.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what you need to know. <\/p>\n

Dallas North Tollway<\/p>\n

The ramp connecting southbound Dallas North Tollway to southbound Interstate 35E in Dallas, near Oak Lawn<\/a>, will be closed for routine maintenance, according to a traffic advisory from North Texas Tollway Authority<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nightly closures began Monday and will continue through Saturday. The closures will take place from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.<\/p>\n

Additional closures are planned in the Celina<\/a> and Prosper<\/a> areas starting this evening for construction work that\u2019s part of the Dallas North Tollway Phase 4A project<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All lanes of east- and westbound Frontier Parkway between north- and southbound Dallas Parkway will be closed overnight Thursday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. The closures are needed for deck work.<\/p>\n

Addison Airport Toll Tunnel <\/p>\n

An overnight closure is planned for east- and westbound Addison Airport Toll Tunnel for routine maintenance, according to the NTTA\u2019s traffic advisory. <\/p>\n

The advisory said the AATT will be closed to traffic starting tonight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.<\/p>\n

Chisholm Trail Parkway<\/p>\n

For drivers in the Fort Worth<\/a> area, continuous closures are underway on Chisholm Trail Parkway for a widening project<\/a> taking place on the roadway. The closures are specifically for reconstruction of the northbound County Road 920 exit ramp, according to the NTTA advisory.<\/p>\n

The closures for work on the CR 920 exit ramp began Monday and will continue through Sunday, Dec. 21.<\/p>\n

Additional closures will take place tonight on Chisholm Trail Parkway, in the Joshua and Burleson areas, as part of the widening project beginning. The closures are needed to perform a traffic switch. <\/p>\n

All southbound lanes of Chisholm Trail Parkway from County Road 913 to FM 917 will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. tomorrow. <\/p>\n

NTTA will place message boards near the construction sites to alert drivers of all the closures. Detours will also be available.<\/p>\n

The NTTA advisory said all closures are subject to weather conditions<\/a> and could potentially be postponed, if necessary. Drivers are asked to use caution in any construction areas.<\/p>\n
