JACKSONVILLE, Fla. <\/strong> \u2013 The spirit of giving shone brightly during our annual Channel 4 Toy Drive<\/a> on Thursday, Dec. 4, as our community once again came together to bring holiday magic to local children.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our viewers, 1,513 toys, 113 bikes, 27 helmets, and 135 books<\/b> were donated yesterday at Channel 4 to help make a child\u2019s Christmas brighter. <\/p>\n

These heartfelt gifts are scheduled to be handed out at the Children\u2019s Christmas Party of Jacksonville<\/a> on Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The support from our community ensured that thousands of children would experience joy, excitement, and hope this holiday season.<\/p>\n

From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., cars lined up at the WJXT studios at 4 Broadcast Place, where families, businesses, and everyday heroes dropped off new, unwrapped gifts for children up to age 12. As in previous years, donors contributed everything from dolls and scooters to art supplies, learning toys, and bicycles. No one even had to get out of their car\u2014holiday helpers were ready and waiting to collect each gift with a smile.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s toy drive continued a long tradition of community compassion. Last year, our viewers helped us collect more than 2,500 toys and 125 bikes\u2014and once again, their generosity exceeded every expectation.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s donations will be handed out during the Children\u2019s Christmas Party of Jacksonville <\/a>on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The toys will bring holiday cheer to as many as 5,000 children across our community.<\/p>\n

The Channel 4 Toy Drive has always been about more than just gifts; it has been about creating moments of joy, building memories, and showing that when we come together, we can make a meaningful impact.<\/p>\n
