{"id":427559,"date":"2025-12-05T23:51:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-05T23:51:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/427559\/"},"modified":"2025-12-05T23:51:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-05T23:51:14","slug":"shawn-hatosy-joins-olivia-colman-brie-larson-in-cry-wolf-fx-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/427559\/","title":{"rendered":"Shawn Hatosy Joins Olivia Colman &#038; Brie Larson In &#8216;Cry Wolf&#8217; FX Series"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<strong>EXCLUSIVE<\/strong>: Coming off his Emmy win for The Pitt, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/shawn-hatosy\/\" id=\"auto-tag_shawn-hatosy\" data-tag=\"shawn-hatosy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shawn Hatosy<\/a> has signed on to star opposite <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/olivia-colman\/\" id=\"auto-tag_olivia-colman\" data-tag=\"olivia-colman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Olivia Colman<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/brie-larson\/\" id=\"auto-tag_brie-larson\" data-tag=\"brie-larson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brie Larson<\/a> in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/cry-wolf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cry Wolf<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/fx\/\" id=\"auto-tag_fx\" data-tag=\"fx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FX<\/a>\u2018s limited series created by\u00a0Sarah Treem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe project, inspired by the Danish series\u00a0Ulven Kommer (Cry Wolf) by Maja Jul Larsen, is a psychological family thriller following a social worker, Kath (Colman), and a mother, April (Larson), thrust into crisis when the mother\u2019s teenage daughter, Mia, alleges abuse, pushing both women to their limits as they navigate an impossible situation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHatosy will play April\u2019s husband and Mia\u2019s stepfather who is at the center of the girl\u2019s abuse allegations. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tProduced by FX Productions,\u00a0Cry Wolf\u00a0is executive produced by Treem, who serves as showrunner, Colman via her South of the River Pictures, Melissa Bernstein of Special Interests and Larson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHatosy won a Best Guest Actor in a Drama Series Emmy in September for his recurring role on HBO Max\u2019s The Pitt as Dr. Jack Abbot, a combat veteran and attending physician in emergency medicine at the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital. He is returning for Season 2, which premieres Jan. 8, and is also directing an upcoming episode. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe Pitt is the third John Wells Productions series for Hatosy who also starred on Southland and Animal Kingdom. Coming up, he also will star opposite Samara Weaing and Sarah Michelle-Geller in Searchlight\u2019s Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, opening April 10.
