LITERALLY, A GOOSE SOMEHOW GOT STUCK ON A FROZEN LAKE JUST SOUTH OF 84TH AND HIGHWAY 370. KETV NEWSWATCH SEVEN\u2019S EDDIE MESSEL HAS THE STORY OF THIS AMAZING RESCUE. ON A COLD WINTER DAY, CLAYTON MONACO STUMBLED UPON SOMETHING IN THIS FROZEN LAKE. I CAME BY ABOUT 8:00 THIS MORNING TO GO TO MY SON\u2019S HOUSE, AND I SEEN HIM OUT BY HIMSELF. IT WAS A GOOSE MISSING FROM HIS FLOCK. I CAME BACK ABOUT ONE TO LET MY SON\u2019S DOGS OUT AND HE WAS STILL THERE. OKAY. SO I DECIDED TO STOP AT PAPILLION FIRE DEPARTMENT AND ASKED IF THEY WOULD CHECK TO SEE, YOU KNOW, HIS CONDITION. PAPILLION FD ANSWERED THE CALL. OKAY. RESCUING THIS CANADA GOOSE FROM AN ICY FATE ON MIDLANDS LAKE. HERE HE IS. HE\u2019S WALKING. NOT VERY GOOD. HIS FEET ARE. AND HIS WINGS WILL FLAP OUT SO THEY\u2019RE NOT BROKEN. THAT\u2019S NOT A WAY FOR AN ANIMAL TO GO. NOT TO BE FROZEN. SOMEBODY CAN DO SOMETHING FOR HIM NOW. SAFE AND WARM. IT\u2019S ONLY RIGHT HE HAS A NAME. CAN I GET YOUR NAME? CANADIAN.
