ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. <\/strong> \u2013 Fourth of July weekend is one of the busiest holiday weekends on St. Johns County beaches. In order to reduce traffic congestion, the county is offering three free shuttles. <\/p>\n

Here are the shuttle locations:<\/p>\n

St. Johns County<\/b> Ocean and Fishing Pier shuttle:<\/b><\/p>\n

July 4 through July 6<\/p>\n

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

From St. Augustine Beach City Hall, 2200 A1A South, to Fishing Pier parking lot<\/p>\n

Mickler\u2019s Landing<\/b> Beachfront Park shuttle:<\/b><\/p>\n

July 4 through July 6<\/p>\n

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

From Cornerstone Park, 1046 A1A North, to Mickler\u2019s parking lot<\/p>\n

Vilano Beach shuttle<\/b><\/a>:<\/p>\n

July 4 through July 6<\/p>\n

10 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

From St. Johns County Health and Human Services Building, 200 San Sebastian View, to Vilano Beach Town Center<\/p>\n

Safety patrols<\/b><\/p>\n

The St. Johns County Sheriff\u2019s Office, the St. Augustine Beach Police Department, and St. Johns County Marine Rescue personnel will patrol the beaches throughout the weekend. <\/p>\n

St. Johns County Marine Rescue personnel will be stationed along the beaches from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. <\/p>\n

Beach flags indicating water and surf conditions will be displayed. The absence of a flag does not mean there is no danger. <\/p>\n

Please visit a staffed lifeguard tower for local conditions. <\/p>\n

On-beach driving<\/b><\/p>\n

On-beach driving hours are between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Traffic must remain in designated driving lanes. <\/p>\n

Beach driving conditions can change throughout the day at each access. <\/p>\n

Beach goers are encouraged to monitor daily updates on driving conditions by following SJCBeaches on Facebook, X\/Twitter, and downloading the SJC Connect mobile app<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Residents and visitors can also monitor the St. Johns County Beach Services section of the County website for beach access updates<\/a>. <\/p>\n
