It was reported in October that Srouji was \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/798258\/apple-executive-reshuffling-eddy-cue-johnny-srouji\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">evaluating his future at the tech giant<\/a>.\u201d While nothing is confirmed, it seems the executive is leaning towards not having a future at Cupertino.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">If Srouji leaves, he would be just the latest in a string of high-profile shakeups in the company\u2019s C-suite. COO Jeff Williams <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/701576\/apple-coo-jeff-williams-retiring-sabih-khan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced his retirement<\/a> in July, which led to some shifting of roles. But things have only accelerated in December, with AI chief John Giannandrea <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/835466\/apple-ai-chief-john-giannandrea-steps-down-siri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stepping down<\/a>, policy lead Lisa Jackson and general counsel Kate Adams announcing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/838712\/apple-policy-lead-lisa-jackson-retiring\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">plans to retire<\/a>, and UI design lead Alan Dye <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/837654\/apple-meta-alan-dye-designer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">departing for Meta<\/a>, all in the last few days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Apple has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2025\/1\/24\/24351391\/apple-change-ai-team-siri-upgrades-kim-vorrath\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">struggled somewhat<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/669238\/apple-siri-llm-ai-revamp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">find its footing<\/a> as the industry further embraces AI. Now Tim Cook is tasked with trying to stem the bleeding, while being subject to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/821691\/tim-cook-step-down-apple-ceo-next-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rumors<\/a> of his own departure.
