DUVAL COUNTY, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Crews with the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast (USCG) and other agencies were searching for a \u201cpossible\u201d person in the water near the Mayport Ferry Landing on the St. Johns River on Saturday.<\/p>\n According to the Coast Guard, crews began the search after an unmanned 8-foot inflatable raft was found in the water on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n A Coast Guard official told News4JAX they are trying to figure out exactly what happened and who the raft belongs to.<\/p>\n Anyone with information is asked to call the USCG at 833-453-1268.<\/p>\n Copyright 2025 by WJXT News4JAX – All rights reserved.<\/p>\n About the Authors<\/p>\n Sophia Vitello joined the News4JAX team in September 2025.
