\n\tThe White House<\/a> doubled down on using Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>-related material in their ICE<\/a> deportation videos after the pop star slammed them for their \u201cinhumane agenda<\/a>\u201d in response to the Trump administration using her song \u201cJuno\u201d<\/a> in a social media video earlier this week. While that video has since been pulled from X (a version remains on TikTok as of press time), it has now been followed by another one.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Friday, the White House posted a new video on social media, which opens with a clip of Carpenter in a manipulated commercial from her recent Saturday Night Live appearance. In the clip, she\u2019s standing next to cast member Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez<\/a>. The audio has been altered, making it appear as if she\u2019s calling Hern\u00e1ndez \u201cillegal\u201d instead of \u201chot.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the original SNL commercial, Carpenter says, \u201cI think I might need to arrest someone for being too hot.\u201d Hern\u00e1ndez then responds, \u201cOh well, I turn myself in\u201d as he puts his hands out, looking ready to be cuffed, and she says, \u201cYou\u2019re under arrest.\u201d (During Carpenter\u2019s recent tour, she would\u00a0playfully \u201carrest\u201d someone<\/a>\u00a0in the crowd with fuzzy pink handcuffs during her performances of \u201cJuno.\u201d)\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the manipulated White House clip that replaces Carpenter\u2019s original voiced \u201chot\u201d with someone\u2019s voice saying \u201cillegal,\u201d it then cuts to allegedly undocumented immigrants being chased and arrested. The White House captioned the new video, \u201cPSA: If you\u2019re a criminal illegal, you WILL be arrested & deported.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCarpenter has not yet responded publicly to the White House\u2019s latest clip using her in a manipulated SNL commercial. A rep for Carpenter did not immediately return Rolling Stone\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new video was posted after the first one using Carpenter\u2019s Short n\u2019 Sweet song \u201cJuno\u201d was taken down from X. The initial one featured people ostensibly protesting against ICE raids, before it transitioned to a montage of agents appearing to chase down and detain allegedly undocumented immigrants.<\/p>\n

\n\tCarpenter responded to the White House post that used \u201cJuno\u201d in a comment, writing, \u201cThis video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAbigail Jackson, a White House spokesperson responded to Carpenter\u2019s objections, telling Rolling Stone in a statement, \u201cHere\u2019s a Short n\u2019 Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: We won\u2019t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid, or is it slow?\u201d<\/p>\n
