Who gives a shit,\u201d the \u201cScooby-Doo\u201d actor added.<\/p>\n<p>But Lillard did admit that Tarantino\u2019s comments offended him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt hurts your feelings. It f\u2013king sucks,\u201d he said. \u201cAnd you wouldn\u2019t say that to Tom Cruise. You wouldn\u2019t say that to somebody who\u2019s a top-line actor in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very popular in this room. I\u2019m not very popular in Hollywood,\u201d Lillard went on. \u201cTwo totally different microcosms, right? Getty Images for ReedPop<\/p>\n<p>But the \u201cKill Bill\u201d filmmaker went after Paul Dano the hardest, attacking his performance in Paul Thomas Anderson\u2019s \u201cThere Will Be Blood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is weak sauce, man. He\u2019s a weak sister,\u201d Tarantino said, adding that Daniel Day-Lewis overshadows Dano in the film, and that Austin Butler would have been better in Dano\u2019s role. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s just such a weak, weak, uninteresting guy,\u201d Tarantino continued. \u201cDaniel Day-Lewis shows that he doesn\u2019t need a strong foil. The movie needs it. He doesn\u2019t need anything.
