Areas of 2\u2033-4\u2033 and locally higher amounts are most likely along and west of Hwy 281 including the Hill Country. Exactly where those downpours setup will be a wait-and-see situation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><b>GUADALUPE RIVER<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Streamflow along the Guadalupe River is very high in places (Copyright 2025 by KSAT &#8211; All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">While the river is receding, we are still seeing very high streamflow along the river &#8211; upstream AND downstream from Canyon Lake. Please use caution if you are by the Guadalupe today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><b>AREA LAKES<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Local area reservoirs are rising (Copyright 2025 by KSAT &#8211; All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">We are seeing a rise in local reservoirs, even if it\u2019s a small one. Canyon Lake and Lake Travis are responding most to the rainfall &#8212; up 10 to 20 feet since July 4.
