I’m a single, senior lady and don’t generate a lot of trash. So if I only set my black can out every other week and maybe the blue can every three weeks, will I be charged accordingly? Or do I pay the same as my neighbors who set them out every week? What if I am not home for a month and therefore need no pickups — am I still charged the same? With no accounting by the city and the bill added to my property tax, how can I question something that I believe is in error? Will we get an itemization each month, or just be left to guess when we get our property tax bill in November?
