Three people were injured when gunfire broke out at a large gathering in North Philadelphia early Sunday, officials said.<\/p>\n
According to police, three people have been hospitalized after, at least, 27 shots were fired when shooting erupted at a gathering along the 2200 block of Edgely Street, in North Philadelphia, after about 1:40 a.m. <\/p>\n
Officials said all three of the victims — who police have not provided further information on — were listed in stable condition on Sunday morning. <\/p>\n
Police said that officers had to break up the gathering when they arrived at the scene. <\/p>\n
Early Sunday, NBC10’s crews saw police removing a vehicle from the scene as investigators were working at the site. <\/p>\n
However, police have not yet provided further information on what led to this incident or if any suspects have been identified. <\/p>\n
But, officials said an investigation is ongoing. <\/p>\n
