{"id":433733,"date":"2025-12-08T17:38:12","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T17:38:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/433733\/"},"modified":"2025-12-08T17:38:12","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T17:38:12","slug":"snapshot-auto-show-revs-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/433733\/","title":{"rendered":"Snapshot: Auto Show Revs Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p5\">The 2025 <b style=\"font-family: Verdana, BlinkMacSystemFont, -apple-system, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">Los Angeles Auto Show<\/b> closed late November with clear indications that the car industry is entering a new phase of growth \u2013 driven by fresh investment and evolving technologies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">The 10-day event at the Los Angeles Convention Center \u2013 which kicked off downtown on Nov. 21 \u2013 attracted hundreds of thousands of car enthusiasts, car designers, engineers and industry executives. Show organizers estimated that this year\u2019s attendance jumped about 7%, evidence of the show\u2019s industry prominence and flair, said <b>David Fortin<\/b>, vice president of marketing of the Los Angeles Auto Show and <b>AutoMobility LA<\/b>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">\u201cEverything was hitting on all cylinders,\u201d Fortin said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got a little bit of everything (for car enthusiasts) \u2026 (and) the automakers were super enthused.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">Founded in 1907, the show is one of the nation\u2019s oldest and most significant industry events, featuring automotive innovation, immersive experiences, and exclusive debuts. Custom, high-end luxury and more were on display at this year\u2019s show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\"><b>Kia Corp.<\/b> started the weeklong show with the debut of its new 2027 Telluride SUV \u2013 sporting an all-new design and some upgrades. <b>Hyundai<\/b> also released a teaser for its Crater Concept, a new off-road show vehicle that will be part of its XRT off-road sub-brand. <b>Jeep<\/b> \u2013 which is owned by <b>Stellantis N.V.<\/b> \u2013 also debuted its 2026 Jeep Recon, a Wrangler EV.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">And consumers got a first look at <b>Chevrolet<\/b>\u2019s new Corvette CX, an all-electric concept car with four motors and more than 2,000 horsepower.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">These various concepts \u201ckind of captivate the imagination about what\u2019s to come,\u201d said Fortin. \u201cSome of these concepts end up being made; some of them don\u2019t, but it\u2019s really the inspiration.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">Consumers had the chance to get some hands-on driving experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">The show also featured some special guests. That included hip-hop star <b>YG<\/b>, as well as <b>D.J. Hed<\/b>, <b>Yume <\/b>and comedian <b>Mike Epps<\/b>.
