\n\tPresident Donald Trump<\/a> called ABC News Senior Political Correspondent Rachel Scott<\/a> \u201cthe most obnoxious reporter\u201d for asking a question about his previous assertion that he had \u201cno problem\u201d releasing footage of the Sept. 2 strike off the coast of Venezuela \u2014 which killed the two survivors of an alleged drug trafficking boat\u00a0\u2014 and the prominent reporter has parried with video evidence of POTUS\u2019 course reversal.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the clip shared by Scott on her Instagram, the GOP leader denied saying he would be in favor of releasing footage of the second strike, which has launched significant bipartisan scrutiny and contentions that it constitutes a war crime<\/a>. \u201cI didn\u2019t say that; you said that,\u201d Trump shot back, calling ABC \u201cfake news.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe added that he would be \u201cOK\u201d with whatever Secretary of War\/Defense Pete Hegseth<\/a> decided on the matter, before spouting off a series of statistics about the administration\u2019s supposed success in curbing drug smuggling. <\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Scott tried to clarify if that indicated a commitment to releasing video evidence of the strike, Trump fired back: \u201cDidn\u2019t I just tell you that?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place,\u201d he continued. \u201cLet me just tell you, you are an obnoxious\u2014actually, a terrible reporter. And it\u2019s always the same thing with you. I told you, whatever Pete Hegseth wants to do, is OK with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThis is the latest in a long line of hostile encounters between Trump and a female journalist. Just days ago, the convicted felon called CNN<\/a>\u00a0Chief\u00a0White House<\/a>\u00a0Correspondent\u00a0Kaitlan Collins<\/a> \u201cstupid and nasty\u201d when she asked similar questions about the administration\u2019s air strikes<\/a> in the Caribbean.<\/p>\n

\n\tDissecting the exchange afterward, MS Now\u2019s Nicole Wallace questioned<\/a> if the president forgot or misspoke when addressing Scott\u2019s inquiry.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe second thing I wanted to hit pause on \u2026 is never normalize the verbal violence, the verbal assault on another female journalist,\u201d she said<\/a>, before enumerating the laundry list of attacks Trump has lobbed at female reporters in recent weeks, including: calling CBS News\u2019 Nancy Cordes a \u201cstupid person,\u201d<\/a> deeming the New York Times\u2018 Katie Rogers \u201cthird rate\u201d and \u201cugly,\u201d<\/a> berating ABC News\u2019 Mary Bruce as \u201chorrible\u201d and \u201cinsubordinate\u201d<\/a> and, of course,\u00a0telling Bloomberg News\u2019 Catherine Lucey \u201cquiet piggy,\u201d<\/a> the last of which was defended by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt as\u00a0\u201cvery frank and honest\u201d<\/a>\u00a0commentary, rather than playground-level taunting.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThis is sick shit.
