The Super Bowl MVP did not show up under the bright lights of “Monday Night Football,” turning the ball over five times (four interceptions, one fumble) and posting a 31.2 passer rating. Outside of a couple key drops, this one was on Hurts’ shoulders. Grade: F

RUNNING BACK: Saquon Barkley’s 52-yard touchdown run was the highlight of a 122-yard night on the ground. It was just the second time all season he eclipsed 100 yards. If you give Saquon the ball in space, he can do some pretty special things. Grade: B+

WIDE RECEIVER/TIGHT END: A.J. Brown had three crucial drops. One would have gone for a big gain on the first play from scrimmage. The next would have been a first-down catch instead of an interception. And the third likely would have been the game-winning touchdown. Brown had 100 yards on six catches. Dallas Goedert had eight receptions for 78 yards. And DeVonta Smith had four catches for 37 yards. But Brown’s errors loomed large. Grade: D+

OFFENSIVE LINE: The group had some costly penalties, though Jordan Mailata’s hold on the Brown touchdown wiped off the board was questionable. Mailata and Fred Johnson played well enough at tackle. Landon Dickerson exited and returned with an injury. Cam Jurgens and Tyler Steen were up and down. The o-line was fine, but not a difference-maker. Grade: C-

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (10) throws as he tackled by Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jalyx Hunt during the first half of an NFL football game Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, in Inglewood, Calif. Defensive tackles Jordan Davis and Byron Young each had 1 1/2 sacks. Edge rusher Jalyx Hunt had 2 1/2 sacks while Jaelan Phillips affected Justin Herbert’s arm on an interception. It was a dominant, aggressive performance from the d-line. Grade: A

LINEBACKER: A couple of Zack Baun’s run fits were iffy, and there was a lapse on Kimani Vidal’s 60-yard catch-and-run out of the Chargers’ backfield on the opening drive. Otherwise, Baun and Nakobe Dean played well with 15 combined tackles. Grade: B+

SECONDARY: You couldn’t ask for much more. Quinyon Mitchell was as sticky as usual. Adoree’ Jackson had an INT and another PBU. Cooper DeJean had two PBUs. At safety, Reed Blankenship had eight tackles while Marcus Epps made a big third-down stop. Grade: A-

COACHING: Nick Sirianni had more of a hand in offensive game planning this week. But it didn’t seem to help. Kevin Patullo’s scheme is still a mess. Vic Fangio and his defense were dialed in, keeping this staff from getting a failing grade. Grade: C-

The Philadelphia Eagles lost their third straight game, this time to the Los Angeles Chargers on “Monday Night…

[5132
5229,1448,2830,1311,67,586,132,5230,68,2969
0":"post-435527","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-philadelphia","8":"tag-america","9":"tag-pa","10":"tag-pennsylvania","11":"tag-philadelphia","12":"tag-united-states","13":"tag-united-states-of-america","14":"tag-unitedstates","15":"tag-unitedstatesofamerica","16":"tag-us","17":"tag-usa
["GET
