Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>After Metallica\u2019s performance, Osbourne, 76, came out on stage and performed a five-song set by himself, before he was joined by his former bandmates Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler for four of the group\u2019s songs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre you ready?\u201d Osbourne asked the audience. \u201cLet the madness begin!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCrazy Train\u201d singer, who<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/04\/entertainment\/ozzy-osbourne-details-psychological-toll-of-parkinsons-battle\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0lives with Parkinson\u2019s<\/a>, sat on stage in a black leather chair as he pumped up the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>After the last song, Osbourne was presented with a cake and fireworks went off over Villa Park to close out the emotional night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the last song ever. Your support has enabled us to live an amazing lifestyle, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. AFP via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The sold-out concert was hosted by \u201cAquaman\u201d star Jason Momoa and marked the first time original Black Sabbath band members performed together in 20 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>All of the money raised during the all-day show was set to go to three charities: Cure Parkinson\u2019s, Birmingham Children\u2019s Hospital and Acorn Children\u2019s Hospice.<\/p>\n<p>Fans cheer during Black Sabbath\u2019s \u201cBack to The Beginning\u201d concert. Watto \/ BACKGRID<\/p>\n<p>Before the concert, Osbourne\u2019s wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/06\/entertainment\/sharon-osbourne-disinvited-band-from-ozzy-osbournes-black-sabbath-back-to-the-beginning-concert\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">revealed she disinvited a band<\/a> from the farewell show because they wanted to cash in on the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not the time to make a profit,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/rock\/black-sabbath-last-show-metal-history-tom-morello-1236013060\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Sharon, 72, told Billboard<\/a>. \u201cAfter the show, I\u2019ll let everybody know who it was. I think people will be shocked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After the concert, Osbourne\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2019\/04\/25\/how-jack-osbourne-went-from-rock-royalty-to-ghost-buster\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">son Jack<\/a> paid tribute to the music legend on Instagram. The 39-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/jackosbourne\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=083092f1-1acb-442a-96b6-e18008d5c669\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">shared old footage<\/a> of his dad bringing him on stage as a child, and wrote in the caption: \u201cFor everything I learned along the way\u2026the final Good Night We Love You All.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne attend the 13th Annual Design Care Benefiting The HollyRod Foundation in 2011. Greg Draven\/X<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOzzy didn\u2019t have a chance to say goodbye to his friends, to his fans, and he feels there\u2019s been no full stop,\u201d Sharon said about her husband at the time. \u201cThis is his full stop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Prince of Darkness confirmed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/04\/entertainment\/ozzy-osbourne-details-psychological-toll-of-parkinsons-battle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">he was diagnosed with Parkinson\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0in 2020 and later canceled his tour in 2023 so he could focus on his health.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2023, Osbourne\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/11\/24\/entertainment\/ozzy-osbourne-says-he-has-at-best-10-years-left-to-live\/#:~:text=%E2%80%9CI%20said%2C%20&#039;How%20long,that&#039;s%20just%20unbelievable%20to%20me.%E2%80%9D\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">said he has \u201cat best 10 years left\u201d to live.<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/06\/entertainment\/sharon-osbourne-disinvited-band-from-ozzy-osbournes-black-sabbath-back-to-the-beginning-concert\/#\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A legendary farewell.
