Bill Maher left progressive news host Ana Kasaparian fumbling her words after the pair clashed on his podcast when the comic suggested she would not be able to wear her western-style clothing in most Middle Eastern countries.<\/p>\n
Kasparian, the host on the online left-leaning news network The Young Turks, traded blows with Maher on his Club Random podcast on Monday\u2019s episode when the two intensely debated Israel\u2019s war in Gaza.<\/p>\n
During the spirited discussion, Maher challenged Kasparian to name a city in a Muslim-majority country where she would feel safe wearing her white mini-dress, insisting Israel is the only country in the region that is accepting of Western culture.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat city would you live? And where you think you\u2019d be comfortable in that dress?\u201d Maher asked Kasparian.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m sure it would not be comfortable in this dress in any of the various Middle Eastern countries that have been destabilized,\u201d she started to answer before the comedian interrupted her.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re not really blaming it on whitey?\u201d an incredulous Maher responded. \u201cYou\u2019re blaming Islam on whitey?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat you\u2019re saying, we destabilized, that\u2019s why you can\u2019t wear that dress?\u201d Maher pressed.<\/p>\n
Kasaparian then went on a rant about terror organizations in Syria and the Syrian civil war before the comic reined her back in.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re saying you can\u2019t wear that dress in Syria because of Whitey destabilizing?\u201d he asked again.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I asked about the dress, you went right to destabilize,\u201d he added, after Kasaparian accused him of putting words in her mouth.<\/p>\n
The Young Turks host ultimately admitted she would not live in any city from North Africa to Uzbekistan, as Maher framed it, and agreed Israel would likely be the most accepting of her attire.<\/p>\n
