The Dallas Cowboys<\/a> are in the holiday spirit.<\/p>\n

On Monday, several team members made their annual visit to Children\u2019s Medical Center Dallas. Players in attendance included offensive guard Tyler Smith<\/a>, tight end Brevyn Spann-Ford and wide receiver KaVontae Turpin.<\/p>\n

The players were also accompanied by members of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s definitely a humbling effort. I think it\u2019s kind of humbling for all the guys, and it\u2019s special for me to come in here and just be able to provide a little bit of light to their holiday season knowing that they are in a time where there\u2019s a little bit of a struggle right now,\u201d Smith said. \u201cI\u2019m praying that everything ultimately works out in their favor. I\u2019m glad that we\u2019re able to use our platform to come out here, provide joy, meet a kid and kind of hear about his story.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cowboys players and cheerleaders simultaneously visited children receiving medical care at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas, Cook Children\u2019s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Children\u2019s Medical Center Dallas and Medical City Children\u2019s Hospital.<\/p>\n

Quarterback Dak Prescott also gave back to the community at a separate event.<\/a> The Cowboys quarterback, through Raising Cane\u2019s restaurants, gifted 50 bikes to foster kids of all ages from Jonathan\u2019s Place and to some students in his PLAY mentorship program at North Crowley High School.<\/p>\n
