{"id":436047,"date":"2025-12-09T17:20:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T17:20:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/436047\/"},"modified":"2025-12-09T17:20:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T17:20:13","slug":"north-east-isd-board-names-anthony-jarrett-interim-superintendent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/436047\/","title":{"rendered":"North East ISD Board names Anthony Jarrett interim superintendent"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO &#8211; The North East Independent School District will have new leadership early next year as the Board of Trustees voted to appoint Chief Instructional Officer Anthony Jarrett as interim superintendent. <\/p>\n<p>The move comes after Superintendent Sean Maika announced he would step down, with his final day at NEISD set for Jan. 12. His resignation officially takes effect March 31.<\/p>\n<p>Jarrett, who has worked with NEISD for six years and has over 25 years of experience in public education, will assume the interim role on Jan. 13.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. Jarrett and I have worked closely over the past six years.
