It would also be a bit of a reversal for SpaceX, which previously considered spinning off its Starlink division for an IPO, while keeping the main company private.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bloomberg\u2019s report comes just a few days after The Information was first to report that Elon Musk\u2019s space company was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theinformation.com\/articles\/spacex-tells-investors-aiming-late-2026-ipo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">targeting<\/a> a late 2026 IPO. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Wall Street Journal also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/business\/spacex-in-talks-for-share-sale-that-would-boost-valuation-to-800-billion-b2852191?gaa_at=eafs&amp;gaa_n=AWEtsqd8kZxtxDmeMESIZME6pvl3hgOzFYD5v-oNrrwCYlLAkkfRXKYOFgM0sG9wHAk%3D&amp;gaa_ts=69333002&amp;gaa_sig=d_FOgGZSdQCcBIlmZIcPgJXDn0On_MuiDvT2S_kenBhC8E4IWFbyrNHdK_AIED-CV-wD8DSwBLOAWp3l84h-0w%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">recently<\/a> broke the news that SpaceX was engaged in another secondary share sale for employees that would peg the company\u2019s current valuation at around $800 billion.
