As it pertains to diet, some experts say they prioritize antioxidants and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/09\/07\/58-year-old-doctor-eats-a-salad-for-breakfast-gets-130-grams-of-protein-a-day.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">add leafy greens<\/a> to just about every meal. While others focus specifically on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/12\/07\/longevity-doctor-and-yogi-i-build-my-life-around-these-5-daily-habits.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reducing or avoiding<\/a> whole categories, like gluten and ultra-processed foods. And they often encourage their patients to do the same.<\/p>\n<p>But <a href=\"https:\/\/balancerehabclinic.com\/team\/simon-feldhaus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dr. Simon Feldhaus<\/a>, a doctor with 30 years of experience who has studied longevity for about half that time, has a much different approach.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I hate diets. There&#8217;s too much discussion about diet,&#8221; he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/11\/25\/the-foods-and-daily-habits-this-doctor-prioritizes-to-live-well.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tells CNBC Make It<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Feldhaus is also the president of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ssaamp.ch\/en\/portrait\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Swiss Society for Anti Aging Medicine and Prevention<\/a> and the chief medical doctor of The Balance Rehab Clinic&#8217;s Swiss Hub.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I personally think there is no healthy diet,&#8221; he adds.<\/p>\n<p>Feldhaus doesn&#8217;t adhere to a strict eating plan. Instead he is intentional about where he sources his food to ensure that it is the best possible quality.
