Julia Louis-Dreyfus felt forced to reveal her breast cancer diagnosis because she knew she would need to explain the pause of her hit show, \u201cVeep.\u201d<\/p>\n
During her Tuesday appearance on the \u201cGood Hang\u201d\u00a0podcast<\/a>, host Amy Poehler commended her for going public with her diagnosis, saying it was \u201cvery helpful for a lot of people\u201d and wasn\u2019t something she was obligated to share.<\/p>\n \u201cWell, I was kind of backed into a corner on that one, because we had to shut our show down,\u201d Louis-Dreyfus, 64, admitted. \u201cIt\u2019s funny how that worked out, because normally I would not have done that. And I was able to help.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s funny how that worked out, because normally I would not have done that.
