SAN ANTONIO \u2014 When it comes to GameStop’s eyebrow-raising “Trade Anything Day” \u2013 a promotion that encouraged customers to literally trade in anything<\/a> (with some exceptions) at their local store this past Saturday \u2013 Texans didn’t disappoint.<\/p>\n At least, one customer up in North Texas didn’t.\u00a0<\/p>\n GameStop shared that the zanier items brought in for trade-in credit at locations across the country included a bowling ball, a “full creepy doll collection,” a speed limit sign and “Friends” on VHS.\u00a0<\/p>\n Up in Corsicana, a small Navarro County community about an hour south of Dallas, someone received trade-in credit for a lanky taxidermied bobcat, according to the company. The Corsicano customer might’ve won that particular contest in only-in-Texas fashion.\u00a0<\/p>\n GameStop said more than 80,000 items in all were brought in for credit on Saturday.
