Urban Egg, a Colorado-based elevated daytime restaurant concept, will open a new location in Plano bright and early at 7 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, bringing its award-winning breakfast, brunch, and lunch menus to suburban Dallas. It\u2019s the second Texas location for the brand\u2014its Fort Worth restaurant features a vintage horse trailer converted into a mobile bar.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Plano restaurant\u2014located at 2408 Preston Rd., Suite 704C, in the Preston Towne Crossing district\u2014will feature Urban Egg\u2019s\u201dall-scratch menu of innovative breakfast classics,\u201d including Billion $$$ Bourbon Bacon, Chicken & Waffle Benedict, house-made cinnamon rolls, gourmet pancakes with gluten-free options, and creative egg dishes.<\/p>\n

Urban Egg said it partners with local suppliers to source fresh ingredients whenever possible, a cornerstone of its philosophy.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlano is the perfect home for our second location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area,\u201d Urban Egg CEO Mark Augarten said in a statement. \u201cWe\u2019re building something bigger than breakfast or lunch; we\u2019re creating gathering places where fresh, locally sourced food meets genuine hospitality.\u201d<\/p>\n

To customize the Plano location\u2014the brand\u2019s twelfth overall\u2014Urban Egg is installing a \u201cwishing wall\u201d where guests can write wishes, hopes, or mantras on provided stationery.<\/p>\n

To convey the brand\u2019s commitment to community, Urban Egg said it will donate proceeds from its mock run, an event where the community invites guests to experience Urban Egg before it officially opens to the public, to Minnie\u2019s Food Pantry, a Plano-based food pantry that\u2019s one of the largest in North Texas.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s what we\u2019re bringing to Plano: scratch-made food, local ingredients and a table where everyone is welcome.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the Plano location\u2019s first three days, Dec. 15-17, the first 20 dine-in seated tables each day will receive a free Urban Egg travel mug and free coffee for a year, the brand said.<\/p>\n
