After being elected in September<\/a>, Dallas Stars great Joe Pavelski was officially inducted into the US Hockey Hall of Fame on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

Pavelski spent the last five seasons of his 18-year NHL career in Dallas, totalling 121 goals in that time and entrenching himself as a fan favorite on the early 2020s teams.<\/p>\n

His 476 goals make him the top scorer in the Hall of Fame class of 2025, Pavelski also enshrined with Devils\/Wild forward Zach Parise and Devils\/Rangers\/Canadiens forward Scott Gomez. All three played in at least one Olympic Games for Team USA Hockey.<\/p>\n

Photographer Bruce Bennett and female player Tara Mounsey, an Olympian as well, were also part of the induction class.<\/p>\n

Pavelski retired from the Stars after the 2023-24 season but, even now<\/a>, continues to have an impact on the team\u2019s current-day roster.<\/p>\n

Pavelski was originally a seventh-round draft pick of the San Jose Sharks and is one of the most accomplished late-round picks in NHL history, joining Doug Gilmore (1,474) and Luc Robitaille (1,431) as the only players drafted in the seventh round or later to play at least 1,200 games. He recorded 1,068 total points (476 goals and 592 assists). He played in 201 playoff games, recording 143 points (74 goals and 69 assists) and at one point led all active players in career playoff goals.<\/p>\n
