For others, like Cathy and Charlie Fetzer, it was just the beginning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cWe\u2019re heading to Anchorage, Alaska,\u201d Cathy said. The couple planned to celebrate the Fourth of July at home before flying north to visit their niece.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">When asked whether they had a tough time with their travel experience so far, Cathy said, \u201cNot yet. It\u2019s pretty short right now,\u201d referring to the lines at Jacksonville International Airport. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">She added, \u201cI\u2019m looking forward to hiking and seeing the wildlife. The airport hasn\u2019t been that busy. For us, it\u2019s been pretty easy,\u201d Leo said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">In addition to air and car travel, nearly 5 million people were expected to travel by bus, train, or cruise during this period.
