The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. <\/p>\n<p>Details reveal that the victim and suspect were acquaintances. The two met at the location to cash a check, but when the transaction fell through, the suspect became enraged.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the suspect slashed the victim with a &#8220;sword,&#8221; stole his phone and checks, and attempted to strike him again.
