SAN ANTONIO \u2014 If your kids are bouncing off the walls like over-caffeinated elves this holiday break, San Antonio Parks and Recreation has the perfect place for them to channel all that festive energy \u2014 and it\u2019ll only cost you about the price of a candy cane latte.<\/p>\n
Parks and Rec is rolling out its Winter Holiday Camps, offering full days of games, sports, crafts and holiday cheer for just $3 per child, per day. Even better? That three bucks comes with lunch and a snack included, thanks to a partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank. Consider it the most budget-friendly Christmas miracle of the season.<\/p>\n
The camps run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., tailor-made for working families who still have to clock in while the kids are home dreaming of presents. Children ages 6\u201314 can join the fun at community centers across the city.<\/p>\n
From snowman crafts to upbeat fitness activities that might burn off at least a fraction of those December sugar highs, the camps aim to keep kids active, social, and happily worn-out by pickup time.<\/p>\n
