Matt Campbell continues to bring his guys to Happy Valley.<\/p>\n

Penn State football has named former Iowa State offensive coordinator Taylor Mouser as the team\u2019s next offensive play caller, per the Penn State directory.<\/p>\n

Mouser spent 10 seasons with Campbell in Ames, Iowa, and spent the past two seasons as the Cyclones\u2019 play caller. The 34-year-old has also been Iowa State\u2019s tight end coach for the past five seasons.<\/p>\n

The Cyclones finished 11-3, reaching double-digit victories for the first time in program history, and reached the Big 12 Championship game in Mouser\u2019s first season calling plays. Iowa State averaged over 31 points per game in its historic season.<\/p>\n

Former Penn State tight end coach Ty Howle<\/a><\/strong> left the Nittany Lions to become the offensive coordinator at Virginia Tech earlier this week. Current offensive coordinator Andy Kotlenicki is not expected to be retained on staff in any capacity.<\/p>\n
