MIDTOWN, Manhattan (WABC) — One person was rushed to the hospital after a bus crashed into scaffolding in Manhattan on Thursday, according to officials.<\/p>\n

The FDNY says the bus crashed into scaffolding around 4:35 p.m. at 115 E. 41 St. between Lexington Avenue and Park Avenue.<\/p>\n

Citizen App video shows the bus lodged into the scaffolding.<\/p>\n

FDNY officials say one person was taken to Bellevue Hospital. There’s no word yet on their condition.<\/p>\n

Both the Department of Buildings and the MTA have been requested to respond to the scene.<\/p>\n

The DOB said their inspectors are en route to the scene to investigate.<\/p>\n

Authorities have closed East 41st Street between Park and Lexington avenues.<\/p>\n
