{"id":441981,"date":"2025-12-12T08:26:14","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T08:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/441981\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T08:26:14","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T08:26:14","slug":"keller-connect-app-launches-to-provide-city-news-improve-resident-communication","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/441981\/","title":{"rendered":"Keller Connect app launches to provide city news, improve resident communication"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe city of Keller now has an app for residents to contact the city with questions or issues and learn more about events in the area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you need to know<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.govoutreach.kellercitytx&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Keller Connect<\/a> officially launched Nov. 18 in partnership with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gogovapps.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GOGov<\/a>, a company that specializes in city apps to make the lives of residents easier, according to its website.<\/p>\n<p>Keller residents can use Keller Connect to report potholes, pay water bills or share new ideas for the city.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Reynolds, Keller\u2019s communication and public engagement manager, described the app as a \u201cone-stop shop\u201d for city residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s one more way that we can reach people,\u201d she said. \u201cYou\u2019ve got such a broad spectrum of residents and how they want to get information and how they want to engage with us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reynolds said the app is part of a larger \u201cKeller Connect\u201d initiative to engage with residents. She said the city is also communicates with residents through other channels like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A twice-a-year mailer to residents&#8217; homes<\/li>\n<li>A weekly newsletter that releases on Thursdays<\/li>\n<li>Park and trail bulletin boards<\/li>\n<li>Social media and the city website<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reynolds said this is the first year residents received the twice-a-year mailer and the park. The trail bulletin boards will be installed mid-December with more information about the Keller Connect app.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The city first approved the new app for a three-year period <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/government\/2024\/10\/04\/city-of-keller-plans-to-launch-app-for-residents-in-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in 2024<\/a> with a contract of $31,380 for each year.
