\n\tA new Star Wars<\/a> video game, \u201cFate of the Old Republic,\u201d was announced Thursday during the 2025 Game Awards.<\/p>\n

\n\tArcanaut Studios unveiled a teaser trailer of the video game live during this year\u2019s ceremony. According to an official description, \u201c\u2018Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic<\/a>\u2018\u00a0is a narrative-driven single-player action RPG where you step into the role of a Force user on a journey through a galaxy on the edge of rebirth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDeveloped in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, the project will be led by \u201cMass Effect\u201d trilogy director Casey Hudson, who serves as game director at Arcanaut Studios.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWorking on\u00a0\u2018Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic\u2019\u00a0was one of the defining experiences of my career,\u201d Hudson in a statement. \u201cWith\u00a0\u2018Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic,\u2019 we\u2019re telling a completely new and different story with everything we\u2019ve learned since \u2013 crafting an adventure about choice, destiny, and the timeless struggle between light and dark. It\u2019s a dream come true to once again collaborate with Lucasfilm Games.\u201d<\/p>\n
