{"id":442632,"date":"2025-12-12T15:50:21","date_gmt":"2025-12-12T15:50:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/442632\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T15:50:21","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T15:50:21","slug":"coy-thomas-identified-as-suspect-in-killing-of-93-year-old-philadelphia-man-found-dead-in-his-home","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/442632\/","title":{"rendered":"Coy Thomas identified as suspect in killing of 93-year-old Philadelphia man found dead in his home"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Philadelphia police have identified a suspect in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/philadelphia\/news\/philadelphia-man-dead-logan-north-16th-street\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"noopener\">the killing of a 93-year-old man who was found dead in his home earlier this month<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Coy Thomas, 53, is wanted for the death of 93-year-old Lafayette Dailey.<\/p>\n<p>Dailey&#8217;s body was found inside his home on the 4500 block of North 16th Street around 3 p.m. on Dec. 5, according to police. The Philadelphia Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office later determined Dailey was stabbed to death.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Dailey&#8217;s Chrysler sedan was missing along with his car keys and wallet. The car was later located.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas was identified as a suspect in a news release Friday morning.
