It\u2019s official: Kyrie Irving<\/a> will be in Dallas for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n

The Mavericks officially announced the veteran guard\u2019s re-signing<\/a> Sunday afternoon. The team did not disclose the terms of Irving\u2019s new deal.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have re-signed nine-time All-Star Kyrie Irving.<\/p>\n

Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

On June 24, The Dallas Morning News\u2019 Mike Curtis reported that Irving agreed to a new three-year, $119 million deal with the Mavericks.<\/a> The new deal would include a player option for the 2027-28 season.<\/p>\n

To agree to the new deal, Irving had declined his $43.9 million player option for the 2025-26 season.<\/p>\n

Irving, a nine-time All-Star, had no plans of leaving Dallas. The 33-year-old guard is expected to miss a significant portion of the 2025-26 campaign after sustaining an ACL tear in his left leg<\/a> last season.<\/p>\n

Prior to his injury in March, Irving was averaging 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists.<\/p>\n
