{"id":44339,"date":"2025-07-06T21:31:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-06T21:31:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/44339\/"},"modified":"2025-07-06T21:31:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-06T21:31:12","slug":"authorities-id-pickup-driver-killed-in-boyle-heights-freeway-transition-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/44339\/","title":{"rendered":"Authorities ID Pickup Driver Killed in Boyle Heights Freeway Transition Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man driving a pickup truck died Saturday when the vehicle crashed into an overpass on the transition from the northbound Golden State (5) Freeway to the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Boyle Heights.<\/p>\n<p>The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 12:57 a.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Cesar Ruiz, 38, died from blunt force trauma inside the truck in an accident, the Medical Examiner\u2019s office reported.
