Human skeletal remains were discovered at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx Friday morning, police and law enforcement sources said. <\/p>\n
A group of artifact hunters made the chilling discovering in a wooded section of the park, just off the southbound side of the Major Deegan Expressway around 11:38 a.m., according to cops and sources.<\/p>\n

As of Friday night, police were still probing the grim scene near Exit 13 of the expressway. <\/p>\n

Photos showed the city\u2019s Office of Chief Medical Examiner removing the remains from the scene. <\/p>\n
