{"id":443914,"date":"2025-12-13T06:24:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T06:24:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/443914\/"},"modified":"2025-12-13T06:24:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T06:24:17","slug":"weather-alert-heavy-fog-expected-saturday-morning-in-san-antonio-surrounding-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/443914\/","title":{"rendered":"WEATHER ALERT: Heavy fog expected Saturday morning in San Antonio, surrounding region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Weather Service says its Dense Fog Advisory should last from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>SAN ANTONIO \u2014 The National Weather Service is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kens5.com\/weather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">warning of heavy fog<\/a> that could impact commuters across South Texas early Saturday morning, including in San Antonio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/wwamap\/wwatxtget.php?cwa=EWX&amp;wwa=dense%2520fog%2520advisory\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dense Fog Advisory\u00a0<\/a>is expected to be in effect from 3 a.m. until 9 a.m., limiting visibility for a second straight morning in the Alamo City. According to the NWS, visibility will be down to a quarter-mile or less in areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are urged to take care on the roads if traveling that early. Communities in the Hill Country and Edwards Plateau will also be impacted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The NWS also offers these <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weather.gov\/safety\/fog-driving\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tips\u00a0<\/a>for navigating roads in heavy fog:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul id=\"isPasted\">\n<li>Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.<\/li>\n<li>Make your vehicle visible to others both ahead of you and behind you by using your low-beam headlights since this means your taillights will also be on. Use fog lights if you have them.<\/li>\n<li>Never use your high-beam lights.
