LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) \u2014\u00a0Five Iron Golf now has a second location in downtown Louisville.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Louisville officials joined franchise owners Peter McCormick and Alex Zega on Thursday for the grand opening at 104 S. Fourth Street.\u00a0Ella Sizemore, a duPont Manual High School junior and history-making sixth region golf champion took the ceremonial first swing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The $750,000 project transformed the long-vacant storefront into an indoor golf and social destination.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Five Iron Golf opened its first location in NuLu in the spring of 2024<\/a>. The new downtown location is expected to drive renewed activity and foot traffic around 4th Street Live and the downtown area.<\/p>\n The new\u00a05,000-square-foot venue\u00a0will feature Trackman simulators, a full-service bar and favorite menu items from the NuLu location.<\/p>\n “This location represents another chapter of our investment in Louisville and in downtown,” franchisee Peter McCormick said in a news release. “Activating this space and helping bring more energy to the area is something we\u2019re proud to be part of.
