The woman was taken to a hospital but later died.<\/p>\n<p>Police said investigators learned the victim and a man had gone to the motel to recover his stolen vehicle, which he&#8217;d located at the motel but had not reported stolen to police. While attempting to recover the vehicle, police said &#8220;an incident occurred where the female was shot.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Two people who were in the stolen vehicle ran from the motel after the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Worth Police did not say who shot the woman and have not announced any arrests or identified any suspects. The victim&#8217;s identity will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office after her family has been notified of her death.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Worth Police said they are looking into information that the stolen vehicle may have been used in a drive-by shooting earlier Friday, but so far, police have not confirmed whether it was the same vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation into the homicide is ongoing.
