The Israeli military said it struck 130 targets across the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, in strikes that targeted Hamas command and control structures, storage facilities, weapons and launchers, according to the AP report. <\/p>\n

Netanyahu\u2019s office announced late Saturday that an\u00a0Israeli negotiating<\/a>\u00a0team would travel to Qatar on Sunday for ceasefire talks. But at the same time it said Hamas had requested amendments to the truce proposal that were\u00a0\u201cunacceptable to Israel.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The Israeli statement came after Hamas said it was \u201cseriously ready to enter immediately into a round of negotiations\u201d for a ceasefire in Gaza. The Palestinian militant group said in a statement late Friday that it had\u00a0given a \u201cpositive response\u201d<\/a>\u00a0to the U.S.-brokered proposal.<\/p>\n

Trump said on Friday that there could be a\u00a0ceasefire deal in the coming week<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hezbollah leader Naim Kassem, meanwhile, reiterated on Sunday the militant group\u2019s refusal to lay down its weapons before Israel withdraws from all of southern Lebanon and stops its airstrikes, the AP reported<\/a>.
