CHICAGO (WLS) — A jury has found a man guilty for the murder of a mother found strangled<\/a> in a South Side garage, Chicago police said.<\/p>\n

A jury found Lawrence Boyle guilty on two counts of first-degree murder in the death of Sierra Jamison.<\/p>\n

In September 2023, Jamison’s mother found her in a garage outside the home she had been renting in the 7800-block of South Indiana Avenue, which she shared with her 6-year-old son.<\/p>\n

Her mother said her daughter had just celebrated her 30th birthday and was working as a phlebotomist.<\/p>\n

Boyle is due in court on January 5 for pre-sentencing motions.<\/p>\n
