\nCentral Mountain wrestlers celebrate with their runner-up trophy after taking second at Sugar Valley’s Lady Phoenix Christmas Classic tournament on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Central Mountain took home a second-place finish as a team at the Sugar Valley Lady Phoenix Christmas Classic girls wrestling tournament on Saturday. Southern Huntingdon took first with 125.0 points, CM had 100.5 points for second, Muncy finished third (81), Wellsboro was fourth (77) and Jersey Shore took fifth (73.0).<\/p>\n

Bellefonte was eighth with 44 points and Bald Eagle Area took ninth with 43.5 points. Host Sugar Valley finished with 30 points for 11th out of the 12-team field.<\/p>\n

Bald Eagle Area\u2019s Addison Tice was a champion at 112 pounds when she made quick work of her match and secured a 13-second fall over Central Mountain\u2019s Emma Scarborough-Perez.<\/p>\n

Central Mountain\u2019s Austynn Falls walked away as a champion in the 148 final with a 1:32 fall against Benton\u2019s Alyss Posey. <\/p>\n

Bellefonte\u2019s Bailee Scott won the title at 155 with a fall in 1:22 against Jersey Shore\u2019s Taylor Ross. Jersey Shore\u2019s Isabella Gottschall secured a win in the final at 170 with a pin in 2:33 against Mechanicsburg\u2019s Maddi Bonner. <\/p>\n

Central Mountain standout Kendall Wagner beat Wellsboro\u2019s Phoebe Bowen in the final at 190 with a fall in 1:21. Muncy\u2019s Paige Dunham-Lester pinned Muncy\u2019s Piper Diehl in the third-place final at 190 in 1:34.<\/p>\n

In the 118 final, Muncy\u2019s Zoe Kunkle took first by pinning Southern Huntingdon\u2019s Miriam Shugarts in 1:39. Sugar Valley\u2019s Piper Lane took third at 118 by pinning Jersey Shore\u2019s Gracie Hostrander in 51 seconds.<\/p>\n

Central Mountain\u2019s Ashlyn Miller fell in the final at 235 to Southern Huntingdon\u2019s Jessa Barron via fall in 1:49 to take second. Sugar Valley\u2019s Isabella Snyder finished fourth after she was pinned in 1:46 to Southern Huntingdon\u2019s Paige Walker at 235 in the third-place matchup.<\/p>\n

Central Mountain\u2019s Alana Rhodes finished second in the 142 final after suffering a 57-second fall to Southern Huntingdon\u2019s Maddy Shugarts. <\/p>\n

Bellefonte\u2019s Victoria Schellenberg walked away as a third-place finisher at 142 after she secured a win in just 29 seconds by pinning Jersey Shore\u2019s Carsyn Sobiech. Bellefonte\u2019s Eli Johnsonbaugh pinned Shamokin\u2019s Farrah Belmahi in 130 via pin.<\/p>\n

Wellsboro\u2019s Riley Kilburn fell by tech fall to Shamokin\u2019s Marion Ultrich in the third-place final at 170, 20-4, 2:58.<\/p>\n

At 100, Wellsboro\u2019s Isla Towey pinned Bald Eagle Area\u2019s Ariana Mayes in 1:20 in the first-place final. Wellsboro\u2019s Jordan Rumsey took second after being pinned in the first-place match at 106 to Bellwood Antis\u2019 Juliette Cuevas in 3:15.<\/p>\n

Bald Eagle Area\u2019s Lily Spicer took fourth at 106 after she was pinned in 1:39 by Southern Huntingdon\u2019s Rylin Newman.<\/p>\n

Muncy\u2019s Haylee Younkin pinned Makenna Brininger of Jersey Shore for third place at 112 in 37 seconds. In the 130 final, Muncy\u2019s Eva Nagel took second after she was pinned in 1:37 in the first period by Benton\u2019s Callie Hess.<\/p>\n

Jersey Shore\u2019s Aaralynn Kimble took third at 124 when she pinned Southern Huntingdon\u2019s Haile Bowman in 2:14. Central Mountain\u2019s Kennedy Metzger finished in fourth at 130 after a 60-second fall suffered at the hands of Southern Huntingdon\u2019s Carrie Cromwell.<\/p>\n
